Can I pause my Live conversation?

As a consultant on Live, you can pause your conversation in case of interruptions, running diagnostic tests, etc. in order to provide maximum value for the client. This is done at the consultant’s discretion, as clients do not have the ability to pause a conversation.

To pause a conversation (screenshots below):
  • Select “Pause” on the top panel of the conversation
    • This will pause the elapsed time until you select “Resume”
    • Consultants are not compensated for paused time
    • Total paused time is shown in the conversation summary
  • Messages are shown when time has been paused and when the conversation is resumed.
