Log on and Opt-In as either a client or consultant. Clients are those who need help, and consultants are technology experts who are available to give help.
If you are a client, search or browse available consultants and request a conversation! Be sure to provide the details of your question to help consultants determine whether or not they can help you answer it.
If you are a consultant, set your status as “Available” and get started right away. The search function results are based on your Experts Exchange profile, so be sure to fill it out with any relevant professional qualifications. Having Experts Exchange certifications greatly increases your chance of being found by clients.
The first 5 minutes are always free, and are meant for initial setup. This might include opening the correct browser, screen sharing, getting more details about the problem, etc. Check out this article for more pricing information.
