Submitting your article
When you first submit your article it will be in the “Submitted” status. Your article will then be reviewed by the volunteer Editors at Experts Exchange for review and feedback. Editors may take up to three business days to review your article.
Once your article is submitted, it will be available publicly through your profile page. You can share your article and begin to receive points for views and helpful votes, but it will not be promoted to the community until it is “Accepted”.

Article Statuses
There are three statuses for a published article on Experts Exchange. Each status is worth 3,000 article points
1. Accepted: Published
An article reaches the "Published" status and is awarded 3,000 points if it meets the minimum article guidelines outlined above. It will be indexed and promoted to the Experts Exchange network.You will receive 100 points per “yes” vote on your article, and 1 point per page view. Minimum requirements consist of:

Correct punctuation and grammar

Correct spelling
-
Acronyms are defined
-
Does not contain links to external sites for SEO or other non-educational purposes

External links are relevant to the article

Is not advertising or promotional material

Passes the content detection check for duplicate content

Meets a minimum word count of 300 words, not including any code.
2. Approved: Community Pick OR Editor’s Choice
An article reaches Approved status reaching “Community Pick” status (awarded an additional 3,000 points once it reaches 15 “good” votes from members of the Experts Exchange Community) OR “Editor's Choice” status (Experts Exchange Editors identify the article as an exceptional submission and would like to recognize it as such). 3. Awarded: Community Pick AND Editor’s Choice
An article reaches the "Awarded" status and is given an additional 3,000 points if it has been chosen as a “Community Pick” with 15 votes AND the Experts Exchange Editors identify the article as an exceptional submission and award it “Editor’s Choice”.
NOTE: Your article can be a Community Pick, Editor’s Choice, or both.
Disagreements
If a disagreement arises between you and an Editor, please try to resolve the issue through discussion. If the problem persists, you may use the "Request Attention" button to ask for Moderator assistance.
